  • kv_img_pc
  • This program is designed for undergraduate students in their third year or above who are enrolled at universities that do not have a student exchange agreement with Shibaura Institute of Technology (SIT). Graduate students are not eligible to apply. Participants will be assigned to a laboratory at SIT and engage in research activities under the supervision of a faculty member. Through this experience, students will gain firsthand exposure to the unique research culture of Japanese universities while interacting with students and researchers from diverse backgrounds in an international and dynamic academic environment.
In addition to deepening their knowledge in their field of study, participants will develop practical research skills through activities such as research planning, experimentation, data analysis, and presentation of research outcomes. The program offers a valuable opportunity for students who are considering graduate studies or a future career in research to gain meaningful research experience at an early stage of their academic journey.

Find the Laboratory

There are two ways to find the laboratory:

You may refer to the “Designated Research Project” first, in which the professor has limited conditions for accepting students.
If you don't have your own research topic and meet the requirements, there is a good chance that they will be accepted.

If you don’t find the "Designated Research Projects" that suits you, you may refer to the "SIT Laboratory list" to find the laboratory you are interested in.
