Identifying the source and dynamics of chemical pollutions!

To reduce pollutions in the environment, it is important to understand their sources and environmental dynamics. If we try to implement countermeasures without knowing the source, there is a risk of incurring significant and unnecessary costs. In our research laboratory, we utilize state-of-the-art analytical instruments to analyze trace components and stable isotopic ratios in pollutions, and strive to elucidate their properties. Additionally, we apply new technologies to analyze food, investigating issues such as food fraud and the mechanisms behind the generation of trace components.
