Contextual Design Lab

Understand a specific context and design smart things that seamlessly integrate within it

The Contextual Design Lab understands the context in the real world, examines the required concepts, and works on creating appropriate designs. The word "context" includes various meanings such as environment, situation, trends, human relationships, and historical, cultural, and social backgrounds. In today's world, where digital technology is widely spreading and the social life environment is rapidly changing, the context surrounding the people or groups (communities) targeted as design issues is becoming more complex. The lab strives to understand and interpret these contexts, and to design using the latest technology in the most effective way. Through the application of contextual design approaches, our lab contributes to today's and future social life, everyday practices, and cultures.
