Environmental Policy Laboratory

Thinking about what is social happiness from environmental viewpoints

Environmental problems are intricately intertwined with social and economic problems and involve many people from various fields. Because of this, to solve environmental problems, it is necessary to make coordination among people concerned, who come from different sectors and have different views about how such problems occur, if we want to reach a consensus. Our laboratory is studying social systems and policies to solve problems based on the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (which set 2030 as the target year) and by taking approaches transcending academic boundaries.
