Distributed Network Systems Laboratory

Distributed Network Systems Laboratory

Recently, the internet is so deeply rooted in our life that we use it without being aware of it. Against the backdrop, the number of terminals connected to the internet and the volume of communication traffic have drastically increased, prompting the daily development of various communication technologies to deal with the upsurge. We aim to realize networks that can be used by everybody freely and without worries through our research in such technologies.

  • 産業と技術革新の基盤をつくろう

STUDY FIELDS

  • Communications engineering
  • Information engineering

FOR SOCIETY

We have been conducting research on self-distributed networks, which are capable of communicating even when the pertinent infrastructure, such as the internet, is cut off at time of a disaster or at access-overloaded event venues.

RESEARCH THEMES

  • Research on technologies to facilitate the cooperative behaviors of the terminals used for IoT (Internet of things).
  • Research on technologies to build self-distributed networks.
  • Research on distributed information processing technologies that combine machine learning and networks.
