Anti-aging endeavors through diet
Tiny amounts of food constituents such as polyphenol and carotenoid have shown to be effective in combatting aging and preventing lifestyle-related diseases. Our laboratory is trying to verify how these constituents work. The results of our research are expected to be used in developing new food products that promote health.

We are conducting joint research with food makers on methods for preventing metabolic syndrome, locomotive syndrome and dementia. The results of our research are used by food makers and cosmetics companies as “seeds” to develop beauty-enhancing foods.Research Themes
