Cell Control Engineering Laboratory
Using materials to induce regeneration in organs and tissues
Various materials with different structures and levels of hardness and surface smoothness are used in medical care. Our laboratory aims to unravel the relationships between materials and cells through in vitro and in vivo experiments. Our research keywords are “biomaterials,” “tissue engineering” and “regenerative medicine.” Based on knowledge gleaned from basic research, we aim to regenerate organs and tissues using materials capable of controlling cell functions.
