Basic System Laboratory

Research and development of robots and advanced IoT technologies that will coexist with humans

We conduct research and development of innovative next-generation software and internet of things (IoT) basis technologies that will be essential in an age when several robots are connected to the internet, creating a new society of coexistence with humans. Our laboratory aims to facilitate individual students to develop their abilities by grouping them on a project basis while having them participate in seminars and study trips and encouraging them to make presentations at outside institutions or academic society meetings.

FOR SOCIETY

It will become important to provide systems with remote control and artificial intelligence where the software makes it possible to connect to networks in order to control robots and automobiles. By applying such information and communication technologies, we conduct research and development of basis system software that will be useful to nursing, welfare, and other aspects of society.
