(Update) Campus closure due to the New Corona Virus Infection

In order to help stem the recent rapid spread of the New Corona Virus infection (COVID-19), Shibaura Institute of Technology (SIT) closed its campus facilities from April 9 (Thursday) to August 3 (Monday), 2020.
As the infection of COVID-19 is still spreading around Tokyo area, as a general policy, we will continue the campus closure until the start of the second semester on September 24. The policy after September 24 will be updated later through our website.
(1) Closure Period:
Tuesday, August 4 to Thursday, September 24, 2020
(2) Closure Rules:
As a general rule, no one is allowed to enter SIT campuses or to use its facilities.
(3) Exceptions:
Those who are engaged in University’s educational and research work, or its related administrative work and students who have obtained permission to enter the campuses through the required procedure.
