Dear All Students,

Jun Yamada,
President

The declaration of a State of Emergency by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government has been extended until May 31. While continuing to take measures to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus, our university will ensure that students have the opportunity to learn through effective and learner-centered of face-to-face and remote (online) classes.
There will be no change of policy for classes and research activities announced on April 23, but however, we will need everyone to take further measures to prevent infection as below.

Please take care of your own health, be sure to wear a mask, wash your hands, and disinfect yourself more thoroughly than ever before.

Always take care of yourself when talking or in close situations with your mask off, such as during and after meal. Please always wear a mask and keep an appropriate distance from others at all times.

The Student Center will send out a separate notice regarding extracurricular activities. In particular, even when the situation is not "3-dense", there has been an increase in the number of cases of infection outdoors, such as in meetings after extracurricular activities. Therefore, please refrain from social eating outings after the extracurricular activities to reduce the spread of infection.

If you have symptoms such as fever, do not go to university and consult a medical institution, home medical treatment, or a fever counseling center in your area. If you have any concerns or worries about infection, or if you have any questions about preventive measures, please contact the「Student, Faculty, Staff Counselling Center」.
Also, if you have any physical or mental problems due to remote classes (online), please consult with the「Student, Faculty, Staff Counselling Center」or other relevant offices. Our professional staff will be happy to help you.
