The use of National Museum of Nature and Science / National Museum of Art

Regarding the participation of Campus Members

SIThas participated in the"University Partnership of The National Museum of Nature and Science" and "Campus Members of National Museum of Art", since August 2017.

The university membership system works as follows:
Students who show astudent identification card can be provided free admission to the collection exhibition (permanent exhibition) of The National Museum of Nature and Science (three museums) and the National Museum of Art (5 museums), any number of times. For special exhibitions, they can get discounts.

SinceApril 2017, a total 68 schools amongnational universities,private universities and professional training collegeshave participatedin theNational Science Museum university partnership. In the case of the National Art Museum ,the totalis 81 schools.
Participationin this program wasinitiated with the supportof theAlumni and Supporters Relations Section, from a perspective of helping students improve scientific literacy, enrichtheir knowledge, fostermore effective use of museums and augment opportunities to become familiar with the Arts & sciences in daily life.

  • At the museums below, The students can be provided free admission to the collection exhibition (permanent exhibition) any number of times.
  • For special exhibitions, students can get discounts.
  • Students can apply for prioriting access to National Science Museum courses.
  • SIT also receives exhibition books, posters, flyers etc, which can be read in the library.
