Advanced Driver Assistance Systems Laboratory
Aiming to improve gas mileage, comfort and safety of automobiles
Although they are convenient, automobiles have negative sides, such as wasteful consumption of fuel, physical burdens on drivers and encountering or causing traffic accidents. This laboratory is dedicated to analyzing various driving traits of drivers to search for optimal driving support and making driving more efficient, comfortable and safer. To that end, we are developing a system to recognize the driving environment to help the driver better recognize the surroundings, an easy-to-understand method to provide information on how to drive with less fuel, in addition to the development of a driverless, small electric vehicle.
