Elucidating the mechanisms of verbal communication
We are researching verbal communication from both linguistic and non-linguistic perspectives to unravel the mechanisms behind this form of communication in various areas of daily life. Our fields of research include the quantitative analysis of vocal traits and behaviors when making presentations in foreign languages, verbal linguistic development among infants and young children, and inter-species comparisons on verbal communication among primates.
