Applied Ethics Laboratory

Thinking about ethics in science and technology

As science and technology make great leaps forward, what was previously regarded as impossible is entering the realm of technological possibility. Yet humans must consider whether we should implement everything that is technologically possible. We conduct philosophical and ethical research into the principles we should follow so as not to violate human dignity in deciding whether or not to use science and technology.
