Discourse Analysis and its Application to English Education
Analyzing English from various perspectives and applying the results to education
We analyze mainly written languages. To express ideas with words, there are many options. For example, we examine why expression A can convey the meaning better or send a more powerful message to people than express B can. We analyze powerful expressions from the perspectives of grammatical constructions and vocabulary while considering the purpose and functions of using a language.
