Human Support Intelligent Robotics Laboratory
Creating technologies for intelligent robotics that assist people
As we approach an aging society with low birthrates in Japan, we face the serious problem of labor shortage in the sectors of manufacturing and supporting the livelihoods of the elderly. To address this problem, our laboratory is trying to develop intelligent robotics that will assist people based on technologies pertaining to artificial intelligence (AI), processing of biological and other signals, and measurement and control.
