Outline of Innovative Asia (IA)
This initiative aims to enhance the circulation of competent human resources between Japan and Asian countries and to promote innovation in the whole of Asia.
Also, innovative Asian human resource inputs to Japan’s business community are expected to bring about diversity, resulting in mutual benefits for Japan and Asian countries, which will strengthen bilateral diplomatic relationships in the long run.
To this end, opportunities for study and internships in Japan for competent students who are studying at ‘partner schools’ in Asian countries will be provided.
Eligibility to Apply
|1||Nationality: Citizens of one of the 12 Asian countries (Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Pakistan, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam)|
|2||Under 35 years of age (as of September 1st in assigned year)|
|3||Bachelor's degree (as of September 1st in assigned year)|
|4||Those who study at or have graduated from S.I.T. partner schools|
|5||Adequate English skills both in written and oral communication to complete the Master's course|

|Duration||2 years for the Master’s program|
|Stipend||Full tuition and fees for matriculation and entrance examinations will be waived. Also a monthly stipend will be provided.
