Classes for the first semester of 2020

May 25, 2020.
Masato Murakami, President

Today, the government's declaration of state of emergency has been lifted. However, as we have already announced, the university has decided that all classes in the first semester of the 2020 academic year will be taught online in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection. There is no change in that decision. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

On the other hand, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) requires each university to execute appropriate decisions and measures on its own responsibility with regard to the entry of faculty members and students into the campus for the purpose of maintaining research activities, while giving consideration to prevent the spread of plague infection. In addition, care must be taken to ensure that students are not disadvantaged for their degree earning processes. Therefore, while the current policy regarding student attendance is presented, the university policy on the research activities will be reviewed flexibly from time to time.
