Five administrative leaders and professors, including the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee Mr. Ye Jun, from Huangshan University visited Shibaura Institute of Technology (SIT) on June 28.
Huangshan University entered into a partnership with SIT in January 2016.

The Huangshan cohort and SIT’s President Masato Murakami discussed further cooperation by implementing short-term exchange programs. International students from China at SIT served as interpreters.

Located in the scenic Huangshan City in Anhui Province, China, Huangshan University boasts 18,000 students and 50 academic programs and majors. Anhui Province is home to two UNESCO world heritage sites and is renowned for its ancient Hui culture, which was heavily influenced by Confucianism and commercialism. The Hui culture is named along with Tibet’s unique Buddhist civilization and ancient Dunhuang’s melting pot culture as one of the three major regional civilizations in China.

14 SIT students from the Department of Architecture are set to visit Huangshan University for a 10-day PBL (Project Based Learning) program in August 2016. SIT is expected to receive students from Huangshan University in May the following year.
