He has been an associate professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Shibaura Institute of Technology. He received Ph.D degree from the University of Tokyo in 2008. He started his research career at the Advanced Industrial Science and Technology in 2008 as a research engineer for heat and mass transfer of metal hydride vessels. After engagement of assistant professor of the University of Tokyo in 2009, he moved to the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Shibaura Institute of Technology in 2010. His research interest is micro-scale thermo-fluid phenomena including boiling heat transfer and Marangoni convection. He also engages in the study on flow visualization and image processing of micro-scale thermo-fluid phenomena.
