How do I apply for the Student Commuter Pass?

SIT will issue your student ID when you arrive in Japan, and with the student ID, you will be able to apply for the student commuter pass for all metro, JR railway, and bus.
For students whose duration of stay is more than one month, it is suggested they buy the commuter pass.
It is available for a duration of one month, three months, or six months.

To apply for a commuter pass, you should go to a manned counter and show your student card.
Trained staff may ask you to fill out an application form.
